What Does the following Ultrasound Scan Result Mean?

my father's ultrasound report is as follows.
size: L.K 106*32mm L.K 108*34mm
cortical thickness and echogenicity is Altered.
R.K and L.K Pelvicalyceal system is cortico-medullary ratio disturbed.
ureter: no stone or dilation
urinary bladder: wall is normal
peristaltic mov. of loops are present.
IMPRESSION: Renal Parenchyma disease type.

Urine report.
colour: pale yellow
protein: trace
sugar: present ++
pus cells: 4-6 HPF
cal oxylate crystals few.

kindly tell,,how serious is the disease? what treatment and precautions should be taken?

Hello

Your father findings may indicate bilateral renal parenchymal disease.
He need clinical evaluation and further investigations.
He may need routine hemogram,random blood sugar,liver function test,lipid profile,complete renal function test(include serum urea,creatinine,BUN,creatinine clearance,GFR,serum sodium,potassium,chloride bicarbonate,24 hour protein excretion).
He may need diet restriction and few medicines depending upon findings.
He need to be examined by a nephrologist.
